Medical Advocacy

CSADV advocates are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to a victim who presents themselves at the hospital or other medical setting with injuries related to domestic violence or sexual assault. Advocates are available to provide accurate information and support while the victim is treated for injuries and talks with medical personnel.

At the hospital, an advocate can:
•  Address safety concerns
•  Provide information on and accompaniment through the criminal justice system
•  Provide information on assistance with medical bills
•  Advocates respond quickly, 24 hours a day
