The Council on Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence (CSADV) is seeking a new Executive Director to lead its organization.
POSITION TITLE: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
REPORTS TO: Board of Directors
SUPERVISES: CSADV Staff and Volunteers
REGION: NW Iowa, NE Nebraska and SE South Dakota
SUMMARY: Under the authority of the Board of Directors, provides direction and oversight to the planning, development, and management of the Council on Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence (CSADV), which serves individuals and families impacted by sexual assault (SA) and/or domestic violence (DV). The Executive Director promotes and participates in community collaborations that protect individuals, builds self-reliance for survivors, expands economic options for survivors, and develops public awareness in the region.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate strategic plan development and implementation for CSADV. Ensure efficient operation of the agency including financial performance, funding, budget preparation, staffing, marketing, program development, policy formulation and compliance with all pertinent government regulations and standards.
Build relationships with and develop a positive public image in the region. Maintain communications to a variety of constituents including agency personnel, federal, state and regional agencies, other service agencies, and the public. Promote collaborative relationships with other agencies to effectively provide services within the confines of limited funding.
Work in conjunction with the Board to develop effective means of auditing, monitoring, evaluating and reviewing programs and services to ensure compliance with standards.
